Bernd Ruf, author of Educating Traumatized Children, is the founder of the worldwide Emergency Pedagogy crisis intervention center based in Karlsruhe, Germany, where he facilitates the training of skilled teams that fan out to help traumatized children living in wartorn places of strife or sites of ecological disasters.
