Abbot Hill Alumni Group Launches CfA Alumni Directory
CfA’s teacher training programs provide aspiring Waldorf educators with more than just the tools they will need to be successful in the classroom. The program also connects students with a network of colleagues from around the world, classmates and comrads who shared the journey of teacher training together. These personal connections are a sourch of support and enjoyment during the duration of teacher training, but often fall away after graduation. Until now.
CfA recognized the importance of maintaining professional connections for its program graduates, and has created an Alumni Directory and database. All graduates of teacher training programs have access to the directory and can create a serachable profile for networking, join special interest groups, connect with former classmates, and stay up-to date on events of professional interest.
“This has been a working goal for us for many years,” says Diana Tesni, a member of the Alumni Leadership Team. “We realized that one of the main reasons people choose a certain educational institution for their degree is in order to make professional contacts. By continuing to support program alumni in maintinging those contacts, CfA can provide an important benefit to its students and also stay connected to all of their exciting work in the world.”
