Florida Building Bridges 2023-24
We are delighted to announce the start of our Building Bridges Program in Florida!
This represents the start of Waldorf teacher education and builds on the foundations established for those who are taking (or previously completed) our Explorations Program. Interested others would be admitted with permission of Program Director, Torin Finser at [email protected]
With in-person long weekends approximately once a month in Atlantic Beach, participants in Building Bridges will earn the equivalent of the first semester of teacher education and upon subsequent entry in Antioch University can be awarded 7 graduate credits in advance standing.

Weekend times unless otherwise noted: 8:30-4:30 with short breaks and lunch hour between 12-1pm. Friday sessions (not all weekends) will be: 4:30-8pm
Please note: each instructor will have the option of one zoom follow-up session 2-3 weeks after the f2f session. Dates and times to be arranged in conversation with participants in February.

March 31 – April 2, 2023 Human Development and Eurythmy with Carla Beebe Comey
April/May: follow up zoom sessions as needed.
September 8-10, 2023 Speech and Storytelling with Debbie Spitulnik
October 22-23, 2023 Drawing through the Grades with Anna Scalera
November 2023 – asynchronous viewing of curriculum videos as preparation for January curriculum workshop with Alison Henry
December 1-2, 2023 (just Friday and Saturday) Human Development and Eurythmy (continuation) with Carla Beebe Comey
January 19-21, 2024 Curriculum with Alison Henry
Feb 18, 2024 (Sunday only) Research and Self Development (continuation) and Building Bridges program completion with TF
