Collaboration
Center for Anthroposophy actively collaborates with the Research Institute for Waldorf Education (RIWE). The Institute is chiefly responsible for the publication twice a year of the Research Bulletin, edited by Ilan Safit, and the management of the Research Institute’s Online Waldorf Library. The Research Institute also fosters research related to Waldorf education and child development, as well as collaborating with other pedagogical research organizations worldwide.

Friends of Waldorf Education
The association Friends of Waldorf Education (Freunde der Erziehungskunst), based in Germany, supports initiatives worldwide striving to educate children in ways which will enable them to take active part in shaping the future. Founded in 1971, the Friends are dedicated to advancing Rudolf Steiner’s educational impulses worldwide and supporting all attempts to ensure freedom in education.
The first Waldorf School opened in September 1919 in Stuttgart. Today there are some 12,500 Waldorf and Rudolf Steiner schools in 70 countries.
There are also 2,000 Waldorf Kindergartens, 600 remedial education institutions, over 100 teacher training centers for Waldorf Education, and a large number of social work institutions.
