Summer Housing & Meals

2024 Dates and details coming soon…

Dear Students:

Please begin your on-campus Room & Board booking process by finding your Program name below and checking the number of weeks and dates your are required to be present. You will be asked to select your Program on the registration form.

Please Note:

As we are coping with a limited number of on-campus dorm rooms, we are annually faced with a necessity to give the first year students the opportunity to sign up first and only open up the registration to returning students later in the year, usually sometime mid-May. With this arrangement there is of course a possibility that by then all the rooms will be taken. Therefore we must ask all returning students to look for an off-campus housing first (See below). Our apologies for any inconvenience and we thank you for your understanding. In the end it always works out and chances are there will be plenty of rooms left in the dorms, especially for weeks of July 8 to 23 so please remember to check back here on May 15th.

Week of July 2 to 7 announcement:

As many programs converge on campus during this week, it is of no surprise that all on campus dorm rooms are now (May 24, 2023) fully booked and just a few spots are left in the Children’s Village. However, the local Waldorf community members are coming to the rescue and are offering rooms for reasonable rent close by (some even in walking distance). Anyone interested, please email milan@centerforanthroposophy.org  for the list of these options.

Attention Returning Students (Antioch Year 2 & 3 and WHiSTEP Year 2 & 3):

We have two options for you:

  1. Your Program Directors / Advisors will be sharing with you a private list of local community housing providers with you can make your own arrangement. Should you not receive it please email milan@centerforanthroposophy.org.
  2. We have once again contracted with Franklin Pierce University in Rindge, NH about 30 minute ride from High Mowing. For more details and/or to book your room please visit our Franklin Pierce webpage. You could sign up there jus for the week of July 2-7 and then move up to High Mowing for the remainder of your training July 8-23, when there should be more rooms available.

Meals:

All meals are lovingly prepared for us by High Mowing School kitchen staff, who during the school year serve a large population of boarding students and their teachers.

Dietary restrictions:

Our staff is ready to accommodate a variety of diets. There are always vegetarian / vegan / gluten-free /dairy-free options available. When unsure, please speak to one of the cooks.

Allergies disclaimer:

As any commercial kitchen, ours is occasionally using substances you might be allergic to like peanuts or shellfish and thus it is virtually impossible to guarantee allergen-free dinning hall. If you are allergic to any substance / food stuff, please take this into account and seek alternative solution as needed.

Regardless where you are staying, you may sign up for meals anytime here

Any questions or concerns, please email milan@centerforanthroposophy.org
