Teachers and trainees from the Waldorf Program at Antioch University New England converged on Chapel Hill, NC, to celebrate a wedding of Claire and Leland Rayner just before the opening of the school year at the Emerson Waldorf School.
Among the attendants were Claire’s sister Hannah, who entered the Antioch program last summer, plus Antioch alumni Chris Coffey (7th grade teacher at Emerson) and Heather Power, now at the new charter Unity School. Representing the Antioch/CfA faculty were Torin Finser (far left) and Alison Henry (center right), along with Chris Ritz (far right), class teacher at the Emerson school and CfA faculty member during our summer Renewal Courses. It was a wonderful wedding with joyous dancing, live music, and a multi-tiered cake.
