CfA/Antioch Summer Residencies 2025
For the past 30+ summers, Center for Anthroposophy & Antioch University have been holding their live residencies on the beautiful campus of High Mowing School. Founded in 1942, High Mowing School offers preschool through grade 8 education on their Pine Hill campus and grades 9 through 12 on their adjoining high school campus. High Mowing is the oldest Waldorf high school in North America and the only Waldorf boarding school in the United States. The partnership between High Mowing & CfA/Antioch is a special one in which all three organizations work together to further the needs of each, and to enhance the continental and global Waldorf movement.
As in previous summers, the entire month of July will be humming with activity on Abbot Hill. Imagine a beautiful hilltop campus overlooking agricultural fields, forest, and mountains. Now imagine that setting filled with adults seeking transformation, professional deepening, artistic engagement, and the fun that comes from leaving behind daily responsibilities and immersing oneself in an adult learning community. Delicious, freshly prepared organic meals, (relatively) comfortable dorm or off-campus accommodations, evening lectures and activities, a dip in the pool when the humidity threatens to overwhelm, and, of course, quick games of Pickleball in between classes!
This summer’s schedule will unfold as follows. There is still time to sign up for many of these programs, and if this summer isn’t quite right for you, rest assured, we will be here again next year offering the same vibrant and high-quality programs.
