The Mentor Training Program is thrilled to welcome 35 dedicated and seasoned educators this summer for an immersive, in-person residency. Hailing from across the Continental United States, its outlying territories, Canada, and diverse regions of Central and South Asia, these experienced professionals will converge to deepen their understanding and hone their skills in mentorship, coaching, and professional evaluation within the unique framework of Waldorf education.

This intensive week is a pivotal element of the comprehensive ten-month, low-residency certificate program, meticulously crafted for seasoned Waldorf educators committed to expanding their service to the movement. Participants will journey into the heart of mentorship, exploring it as a dynamic partnership built on the cornerstones of active listening, mutual respect, and profound pedagogical insight. They will learn to guide and inspire others with clarity and compassion, offering best practices in service and support of new and developing Waldorf educators.

Through a carefully curated blend of engaging coursework, collaborative learning opportunities, and supportive interactions with program faculty and peers, the summer residency will cultivate a confident and grounded approach to pedagogical mentoring. Participants will leave equipped with practical skills, a fresh perspective on the art of mentorship, a robust professional community, and invaluable resources tailored to support teachers across all subject areas and developmental stages.
